SIMULATION OF THE MACHINED SURFACE AFTER END MILLING WITH SELF-OSCILLATIONS

Thin-walled parts are widely used in the aviation industry. It is mainly carried out with end mills and accompanied by self-oscillation during rough milling. They negatively affect quality of machined surface. Therefore, it important to model taking into account dynamics milling process predict accuracy. In early works authors, mechanism profile forming surface was determined. this case, identity shape cutting oscillogram part’s oscillations taken as a basis. The first wave self-oscillations takes part shaping cut-up self-oscillation, cut-down - last wave. change distances cut depressions position elastic equilibrium periodically repeated from maximum value minimum. Based on this, when modeling waviness pitch after milling, necessary know feed rate how many cuts were made tool largest smallest depression. When you need length calculated based speed time. formula for determining derived feed. height determined difference between depressions. To determine size waviness, formulas converting electrical time values oscillograms linear ones. These also allow areas resulting profilogram. methods surfaces tested self-oscillation. profilograms compared those results measurements oscillograms. their analysis, refined calculating have been derived. error within 6%.
